CAPADONA ZA, born LEKOKO CHEGO, is making waves in South Africa’s music scene. This Lekompo producer and DJ brings the heat from Ga-Sekhukhune, Limpopo, with his unique sound and infectious beats. Based in Johannesburg, Capadona is an Audio Engineering graduate with a passion for music that knows no bounds.

Mablomo, born Jacob Malesela Legodi, is a 30-year-old seasoned events’ guru, voice-over artist, actor, and musician from rural Mashashane Bellingsgate, outside Polokwane in Limpopo.

With a career spanning over six years, Mablomo has established himself as a talented and versatile artist in the entertainment industry. He is the proud Founder and CEO of Mablo Productions and Mablomo’s Media Expo & Projects- a Global Media Prolific Group Pty Ltd.

Mablomo made his first TV debut on SABC 1’s popular Skeem Saam and eTV’s Rhythm City as an extra. He has collaborated with acclaimed South African giants, including Seputla Sebogodi, who serves as his acting coach. Mablomo has also worked under the direction of the late Mr. Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa and Matome Rapetsoa, the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Mahuma Group and Get Down Productions. “I’m forever grateful for the experience and wisdom gained from working with industry legends at Matora Complex. Mablomo has been featured in several stage plays written and directed by the late Mr. Mahuma Paul Rapetsoa, including “Can’t Wait,” “Our Cry,” “What If,” “Beyond,” and “Not Worth It.” He has also established an NPO registered with the Department of Social Development, Mablo Productions, which recently introduced the Industrial Theatre production “Pandemic,” written and directed by Skeem Saam’s Itumeleng Kekana, Kwena Tiisetso Mashala (Author of Bokgoni). Mablomo plays the role of Lebeu in this play, which focuses on GBV. He will be touring schools in the Capricorn Municipality later this month to educate learners about GBV and health. “It’s alarming to see how Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is escalating in our country, yet many people still remain silent and unwilling to discuss the issue openly. Education and awareness are crucial in encouraging people to speak out and break the silence surrounding GBV.” Says Mablomo .

Legodi has bagged special features on several Gospel music videos with big names including Dr.Winnie Mashaba ft. Mr Kreative Kutullo Moagi and Nico Moteni’s Fola Moya Waka and Lemenemene by Mr Kreative Kutullo Moagi. He also collaborated with the Banda6 Holdings, DaNukes Records, and other organizations to bring finest events to his village, including the Spring Splash 2023. He has also worked with the prominent figures and featured on various media houses, including Thobela FM, Energy FM, Gateway FM, Radio Turf, and Strictly Mashashane. South Africa Gospel Music Mourns The Loss Of Legendary Artist Solly Moholo

The South African gospel music community is reeling in shock following the passing of renowned gospel artist Solly Moholo. Reports confirm that Moholo passed away earlier today leaving behind a legacy of faith, hope, and inspiration.

Born Solomon Molokoane(65) known proffesionally as Solly Moholo was born in Soshanguve, Pretoria. He grew up deeply involved with the Zion Christian Church (ZCC), which greatly influenced his music career. Known for his distinct ZCC uniform and lively ‘mokhukhu jive’ dance style, Moholo has established himself as a prominent figure in traditional gospel music.

Solly Moholo was a gifted singer, songwriter, and music producer who had been a cornerstone of the South African gospel music scene for over three decades. Moholo grew up in a musical family and began singing in church choirs at a young age in his hometown . His passion for gospel music led him to form his own group before pursuing a successful solo career.

Moholo’s contributions to South African gospel music were immense. Some of his notable works includes Tsoha Jonase Nice Time Ya Bolaya(2003), Mandela O Llela Bana(2006), and Ba Mmitsa Tsotsi(2006), to name a fellow. He collaborated with top gospel artists, such as Rebecca Malope and Sipho Makhabane and has won numerous awards including the South African Music Award for Best Gospel Artist (2010) and the Crown Gospel Music Award for Best Male Artist (2015). Moholo toured extensively, spreading the gospel through music to audiences in South Africa, Africa, and beyond.

He was also known as a talent scout and producer, having mentored big artists such as Winnie Mashaba and a few more . He was a passionate African National Congress (ANC) supporter.

In August, Moholo was admitted to hospital in Botswana after falling ill following a performance for the pre-launch of his album, ‘Wubani O Zo Pepereza’.

As much as it is not everyone that will love what you do, love it yourself because you are enough. Buckle up and start moving because the road to reaching your goal is not easy. You have to work hard, for it pays and be in a competition with yourself to be better than yesterday” Ojebha adds.

19 years old Mokoena’s charismatic presence and unique brand, Ojebha Kamnandi originated from his million dollar moves. He says he switched to the name to promote his love for the jebha dance move, highlighting his marketing acumen.

Baron Thapelo Molepo is a Disc jockey to be reckoned with, born and bred in the gritty streets of ga-Mashashane Mohlonong, few kilometres away from the Polokwane CBDs in Limpopo. Known to many as Baron, says that: “you owe it to yourself to become everything you have ever dreamed of,” as he shares his musical journey since he was made in 2015 when he first realised the passion and talent he carries for music. He plays tremendously great beats.

“I always make sure to deliver quintessential music. It can be hip hop, Amapiano or bolo house, I am an artist afterall. I have a strong desire to express myself through music. I have lived to witness the power that music has to bring people together on different occasions.” Baron said.

Growing up, Baron has always been a person with many talents. He excels in sketching art, dancing, and football but says music has always been his first love. “I grew up playing football in Primary amongst other things. It taught me to never let any opportunity pass by”. Says Baron.

Junior Karabo Marilele AKA MJ The Dancer is the seasoned dancer, Master Of Ceremonies and a Disk Jockey born and raised in Soshanguve township in Pretoria, South Africa.

From a young age, Junior was exposed to the harsh realities of his township – gang violence and substance abuse were a constant part of his everyday life. Nonetheless, he learned to channel the hardships of his childhood into powerful dance moves that resonates with his fans.

Growing up in the township, MJ The Dancer never thought he would one day become a well-received artist. But with hard work, dedication and passion, he was able to make his dream a reality.

“The entertainment industry can be cruel and it isn’t for the faint hearted”. He said. One of the challenges that Junior encountered in his dancing career was coming into homophobic people who always had something to say about him, which affected his relationship between him and then management that led to then terminating their working contract on the 05th March 2024, but MJ says it was a blessing in disguise as he then decided to become an independent.

Junior is a proud member of the LGBTQ community.. “I’ve surrounded myself with people who supported me despite of my sexuality, therefore negative publicity does no longer slow me down and I’m blessed to have a strong pillar in my partner, by my side”. Said MJ
