Ojebha Kamnandi With Million Dance Moves.

In the ever-evolving world of entertainment, the independent Ojebha Kamnandi born Tshepo Mokoena has carved out a remarkable niche. His ascent to fame on stage is a story of grit, talent, and the unyielding power of following one’s passion.

Hailing from the vibrant community of Witbank in Mpumalanga, Ojebha Kamnandi began his dancing career in 2021 with a dream of making it big in the industry and making a difference in the world of people living with albinism. “Most people living with albanism are afraid to come out to do their truth best, and I want to mainly encourage them to be themselves because anything is possible”. Says Ojebha.

His career started modestly in his backroom in Witbank, but Tshepo’s ambition led him to creating and building his own brand, ‘Ojebha Kamnandi’ on the gritty streets of Mpumalanga and on social media platforms that allowed him to showcase his talent and connect with a growing audience.

Tshepo says he drew inspiration from many industry icons but there are few that stands out.-The likes of the late Killer Kau, whose moves will forever stay in his heart.

Tshepo made his first TV deput on the SABC 1’s ‘Expression’ reality show last month, and he tells The Reddot that the deput showed him the power of prayer and believing in himself. “I have learnt that patience is key. As much as it is not everyone that will love what you do, love it yourself because you are enough. Buckle up and start moving because the road to reaching your goal is not easy. You have to work hard, for it pays and be in a competition with yourself to be better than yesterday” Ojebha adds.

19 years old Mokoena’s charismatic presence and unique brand, Ojebha Kamnandi originated from his million dollar moves. He says he switched to the name to promote his love for the jebha dance move, highlighting his marketing acumen.

The future looks bright for Ojebha. He has big plans to expand his reach and take his moves to new audiences. With his talent, drive and passion, there’s no doubt that he will continue to make a lasting impact on the local dance scenes and beyond.

The support is essential to any artist, and Ojebha is no exception. The dancer credits his family for providing the inspiration and motivation to keep going, even on the toughest days. Thanking his fans, Ojebha says; “A very big thanks to all my followers who followed me genuinely. Thanks for accepting me for who I am. Let’s respect one another regardless of our statuses.”
